Susan J Woodley graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1987 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1989.
Ms. Woodley's practice is restricted to estate, trust and guardianship litigation which includes: will challenge proceedings, passing of accounts for estate trustees/attorneys/guardians, removal of estate trustees/attorneys/guardians, applications to appoint estate trustees/guardians, quantum meruit claims, dependant support applications, proof of lost wills in solemn form, joint bank account proceedings, interpretation of wills and trusts, heirship applications, guardianship proceedings, and all other litigation proceedings concerning wills, states, trusts, and guardianships.
Ms. Woodley has authored, co-authored, and contributed various articles and materials published by the Estates and Trust Journal and the Law Society of Upper Canada and is a contributing author to Estate Litigation (Schnurr) and Annotated Estate Statutes (Schnurr). She has been an instructor for the Law Society of Canada Bar Admissions Court, Estates and Trusts Professional Liability - Risk Management, and has been a regular speaker for the Law Society of Upper Canada and Osgoode Hall Continuing Education and various community groups on the topic of estate litigation.
